DOSH/JKKP Legislation including a place at above or below ground level, where a person could be injured if they fell from that place. It is specially designed to provide basic knowledge and skill on Confined Space Safety. It includes understanding the potential hazard in a confine space, its safety procedures and uses of gas detector besides self-contained breathing apparatus. It also includes the rescue of confined space.
Successful participants will be able to work Safely at the Confined Space area with minimal supervision by identifying the requirements of the job, accessing and installing the required equipment, and cleaning up the work area.
Confined space safety is one of the main objective and also to protect those who’s work is related to confined space, especially when hazardous elements are involved in the workplace. Therefore, it is crucial to identify confined space hazards in the workplace. Additionally, ability to conduct confined space risk assessment is a must as well, to identify the risk involved, safety measures taken and confined space procedure.
Ensure all your employees have suitable PPE to undertake the work.
Certificates of Completion in “Confined Space Authorised Entrant &StandbyPerson” are awarded to participants on successfully completed 2days Training (Competency Card validity for 2years)
